|

With the approval of our mighty Kem, I herewith announce the foundation of the Clan of Crushers:
| Kem wrote: | | nobilis wrote: | | O mighty Kem, may I suggest the founding of an IRNCH-subgroup, the Clan of Crushers (CloC) - for people with a strong tendency for long-term hopeless crushes? |
Sure. I'm even a member, damn it.
But that doesn't mean I can't be happy. |
This is an IRNCH subgroup, not an UTD subgroup. An unrequited crush is a non-relationship according to me. However, people who feel (irrationally) UTD-like with their crushes are also welcome.
I name myself President on the strength of my crush on the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard - one of the most hopeless crushes ever.
Please note that I do not hand out laser-eyes. Some special clan equipment will be designed and resolved on later. In the meantime, enjoy sharing your crushness!

Welcome, nuttycat! That makes us already a crushing trio.
Any suggestions for the equipment? |

Shovels.
I don't know why. I just think we should have shovels. |

I've been thinking (it happens sometimes, I can't help it). I won't hand out shovels, but clocks. We are harmless, after all, aren't we?

Of course. Welcome, Leti! And welcome, Darth!
Take a clock, everyone.
Anyone willing to share a bit of his crush history?

So this is a thread in which no one will mock me for my crushes with long-dead guys, right?
And perhaps we should have a workshop/speaker series on how to keep the H part of IRNCH while having a hopeless crush... |

Right. I'm glad I'm not the only one. You know, I feel really strange about SK, as if I knew him personally. If there is an afterlife, I hope to find out what it's all about then.

I usually get sparks of happiness by seeing my crushed one, or hearing his voice, or reading something he has written (the last one even works with LDGs). Don't focus on the things you can't get. Take everything as a bonus. |

What do you think?
I think I'm in all of the relationship-related clubs on here. A bit disturbing, that. |

| Oh, does your OOMA have to be a long-dead person to be qualified to be part of this club ? |
